LiveTree at the Cannes Film Festival9 May 2018
A month after LiveTree was in Cannes for MIPTV, the Global TV and Digital Content event, they’re back in Cannes. This time for the Cannes Film Festival.
Every year in May, more than 200,000 people –from filmmakers and film fans to studio executives and star-gazers– descend on Cannes to watch, discuss, buy and sell films.
This year LiveTree will be bringing the opportunities of the blockchain to the festival. On Sunday at 12:30 LiveTree CEO Ashley Turing will sit on the Blockchain 101 panel, moderated by the BBC’s Emma Jones. The panel will discuss what the blockchain is (it is a 101 after all), why everyone is talking about it, and how it will revolutionise film financing and distribution.
